10km Maverick trail race with my 5 year old

Racing round the Alps whilst breast feeding a 3 month old baby and dealing with all the complications that entailed!
Had to go incredibly gently and steadily - protecting pelvis, eating to feed me and preserve milk supply (and wasn't able to fat burn like usual), not getting injured as I had to turn back into mum of two little boys the minute I crossed the line.  
Had so much time to relax, take in the views and meet some amazing people.  The perfect mental break : )
