Can’t wait to try again... (details)
Started about an hour and a half late. I was trying to stay ahead of the weather rolling in later in the day. I was taking the run super casual, taking pictures and chilling out... going to hit it harder next time.

Stopped at Lake of the Clouds hut to buy a rain jacket because I’m an idiot and forgot mine...

Took a wrong turn up to Madison and lost a ton of time...

Took a wrong turn going down Madison and that’s all she wrote.
Weather rolling in heavy and I was so far behind schedule I decided to hitch hike back and call it a day.
I had the legs to make up some time on the return trip, thw wrong turn added about an hour. That, plus the impending  weather scared me off. 
I cannot wait to hit the full double soon.
