Some cop walked out in front of me and stood in the bike lane spinning some board around like those folks paid to spin ads. On my way past I said: “probably not the best place to be doing that” which apparently enraged them so much they got in their car, ran a light, tailed me for five blocks, then hit the sirens and pulled me over. 

The other guy (possibly his daddy) did all the talking, “what’s with the comment” and “we were just crossing the road” and “show us respect we’re cops” and “you could slow down” and a bunch of other horse shit. 

I wasn’t rude, impolite, condescending, I was actually a little jovial when I said it, I thought we were having a joke together when I said it. But no they double down on being pissmoaning tossers, and followed me for another 8 blocks before I managed to shake them. 

Fucking NYPD.
