Original (part 2) plan after a tough first day was to head to Keene Valley and cab back to LOJ but the weather was so nice, our bodies felt good and the trail conditions at lower altitude were so good that we hit the Klondike trail all the way back.  Such a cool trail…not very technical, mostly downhill, so many stream crossings, 5-6 different forest  high altitude tundra to what seemed like humid jungle, and everything in between…a really enjoyable hike. Now my body is broken and sore though.  Go visit the Adirondacks if have the chance
