I left the end of the trail in Clinton at 8:35pm on October 9 and rode 11 hours in the dark. The night was very peaceful. Raccoons and possums were roaming about all over the trail. I ran one possum over with my rear wheel around midnight.

I packed all the food I would need for the entire ride except for breakfast which I picked up at Loutre Market in Mcittrick.

The ride went as planned and I even finished an hour faster than I was anticipating. I arrived at the end of the trail in Machens at 1:40pm on October 10.
