Cool day. Never seen so many cyclists with no event on as I did for the first few hours, hundreds easily. 4 pros, 1 woman 3 men.

Similar to yesterday, straight in at the deep end with Koppenberg. Tried to avoid flat cobbles, the body could deal with uphill ones fine. Temperature up to 32°C by the end of the day. Too much for me really, but it wasn't as bad as the same thing in the Alps or something because at least I wasn't climbing with no breeze for hours in one sitting. Was taking it easy at the end to keep body temp low but easier said than done on the Paterberg.

Managed to watch the Renewi Tour on Berg Ten Houte. Trentin was pushing on the front of the break. Girmay was off the back having crashed. Then 10 minutes later, Girmay came past again on the same climb with no numbers on this time. Still going at rocket pace though.
