This race is so f’ing hard. Had good legs to start so decided to push a bit and see what would happen, as I normally hang back and work my way into it. Kind of imploded at 35 miles, but held on reasonable well. Lost about 50 spots in the last 20 miles. Great reminder to be more conservative at Vermont 50. Great catching up with college teammates Daniel Hocking and Peter Mallett, and meeting Strava friends Andy Elliott and Chris Metzler.
