This terrain is wicked. I’m choosing to believe that the creators of this trail stood atop Moosilauke in NH and looked towards Killington in VT and decided to route the footpath through the gnarliest, steepest, most dense backcountry they could see. Diving down ravines and shooting right back up them, for no logical reason, and then finding the next location to repeat the process. That’s what this section does. 6000k of gain on the day, the highest single day total outside of the Quad-State. A menacing stretch of woods in central Vermont
