Brutal day, took it chill on the way up, but my legs were completely shot at mile 30. Had some pretty serious back problems too, my left leg kept tingling and going numb and I kept stopping to lie down and stretch. 100⁰ heat picked up around then and it really got to me. Kinda like my hundred miler last year I knew I could finish, it would just suck and it would almost not even be worth it. Almost wanted to hitchhike back to my car. Good phone call with Reid helped me keep going, just hobbled it in and stopped a bunch to soak in the river. Still got the fkt though which is kinda neat! Not super proud of the performance but it was nice to spend a day exploring such a beautiful river :)
