Solo ride today, Typhoon season opener.
100% torrential rain from start to finish, had to lean into it being drenched 500m into the ride.
Amou pass is a marvel of road engineering, some very steep sections, probably the hardest climb of this adventure so far. The descent of Route National 360 down to Shirakawa was closer to rafting then cycling. One big hit of adrenaline focusing on trajectory and passing trough rivers on the road.

I think I really enjoyed today, they was something meditative about being under torrential rain the whole day that I had never experienced.

Legs and bike were consistently strong, it was all mental today out there.
