Morning Trail Run

Not a huge improvement over Anton's FKT (4:50), but I'm delighted to simply be in his zip code from 2010, when he was 2nd at Western States and set a CR at White River. A "moderate" effort -- had more in the tank, evidenced by pace during closing miles; this was my third 25+ mile run in 6 days; and my avg HR was only 2-4 bpm higher than those recent long runs. A significant improvement for me over past efforts, although this is the first one that I ran with intention -- previously, I'd taken my camera and simply enjoyed a long day in the mountains.
