Wrong turn with a half mile to go. Went about a half mile out of my way. No big deal. Still was an awesome course. A bit longer course than 2 years ago when I ran it. Lots of hills and fun short climbs. Took it out relatively well and honest. On the flat sections early I was hitting 6:00 minute miles and late in the race was hitting 6:30s on the same sections. It was an out and back course. Got to see a lot of people on the way back which was nice. I was think I was climbing pretty slow on the hills on the way back. Other than that I was expecting the same course as 2 years ago when it was the inaugural event so I was shooting to best my previous time of 1:33 and some change. But when we passed the old turn around and kept going I got nervous that I missed the turn around. I just kept going and tried to stay quick. Love this course. 

*Found out after the race, 2 yrs ago we did two 2 mile loops at the beginning then turned at the tunnel. Makes sense now. The course is a completely different animal with the section from the tunnel to the turn around.
